Hewmun

Hewmun LLC, a California company (the "Company"), runs one number, (650) 613-4754, as the text line of its principal, Torsten Schulz. Messages are conversational: replies to people who have texted Torsten. An assistant reads incoming texts, sorts them and drafts replies; Torsten approves every reply before it is sent. The program sends no marketing or promotional messages, and numbers are never bought, collected or looked up.

Only people who have texted Torsten themselves receive messages from this number. You opt in by texting (650) 613-4754, or by having texted Torsten at his previous number and given him your number yourself. People in the second group receive one message announcing the new number, which names Torsten and says how to opt out: "Hi, it's Torsten. This is my new number for texts. Please save it. Reply STOP to opt out." After that, messages are only replies in conversations you start. Consent is not a condition of any purchase.

Message frequency varies with the conversation you start; typically a few messages a week at most.

Msg & data rates may apply. Your mobile carrier's standard message and data rates apply to every message sent and received.

Reply STOP to any message to opt out. You will receive one final message confirming that you have been unsubscribed, and no further messages will be sent to that number. You can rejoin at any time by texting the number again.

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Supported carriers include AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon and other major US carriers.

Your mobile number is used only to carry on the conversation described in these terms. Mobile information will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Your number is never sold, rented or shared; it is stored only with the messaging provider that delivers the texts (Twilio), with the host that runs the assistant (Netlify), and in Torsten's private contact list. The text of a message is passed to an AI service (Anthropic) only to sort it and draft Torsten's reply; it is not used for anything else.
