SMS terms and conditions and privacy policy for text messages from Hewmun LLC, (650) 600-9740.
1. Program description
Hewmun LLC, a California company (the "Company"), sends text messages (SMS/MMS) from one number, (650) 600-9740. The number takes no phone calls: a caller hears a recording and may leave a message. The program sends two kinds of messages: (a) to the Company's principal, Torsten Schulz, notifications of voicemails left on the number (the caller's number, the length, a link to the recording, then a transcript) and copies of texts that arrive at the number; (b) to business contacts who text the number first (suppliers, brokers, lawyers), one confirmation that their message was received, then replies written by a person in the conversation they started. The program sends no marketing or promotional messages.
2. How you consent (opt in)
You opt in by texting (650) 600-9740 first. By sending a text message to (650) 600-9740, you agree to receive text messages from Hewmun LLC at the mobile number you texted from, consisting of replies to your message and, for the Company's principal, voicemail and message notifications. Consent is not a condition of any purchase. The first reply confirms your opt-in and repeats these terms: "Hewmun LLC: got your message. Torsten will write back. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help. Msg & data rates may apply."
3. Message frequency
Message frequency varies: a few messages a week at most, and only within a conversation you started or, for the principal, when a voicemail or text arrives.
4. Cost
Msg & data rates may apply. Your mobile carrier's standard message and data rates apply to every message sent and received.
5. How to opt out (STOP)
Reply STOP to any message to opt out. You will receive one final message confirming that you have been unsubscribed, and no further messages will be sent to that number. You can rejoin at any time by texting the number again.

7. Carriers
Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Supported carriers include AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon and other major US carriers.
8. Privacy policy
Your mobile number is used only to send the messages described in these terms. Mobile information will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Your number is never sold, rented or shared; it is stored only with the messaging provider that delivers the texts (Twilio) and on the principal's own phone. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties. Voicemail recordings and transcripts are kept in the messaging provider's logs and deleted when no longer needed. Questions about privacy: ts@hewmun.com.
